This increase in human life span can be attributed to three critical breakthroughs – vaccines, germ theory and antibiotics. The series produced in video and audio formats are available globally on all podcast platforms as well as on youtube, in addition to airing on television and radios in Burkina Faso, Nigeria and DRC. “Hello Doc” as the show is called, is hosted by Nigerian Frank Donga in English and Burkinabè Philomaine Nanema in French. Farmers in developing markets are typically more vulnerable to these changing weather patterns than farmers in developed nations. The extreme and unpredictable weather conditions cause greater crop volatility, hamper livestock yields, and increase the likelihood of pest and disease outbreaks, which in turn, has a massive impact on the economy. To this end, Vodacom remains committed to reducing its carbon emissions by 50% by 2025 to contribute to the climate change targets that governments of the markets in which we operate have made under the Paris Agreement on climate change.</span></span></div><div><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">“There’s no denying that the introduction of mobile-based technology must be complemented by access to low-cost devices, network coverage and affordable data especially for people in under-serviced and under-developed areas. M-Kulima provides timely weather forecasts that help farmers plan around climate change and offers important market information to help farmers get the best price for their products. It’s also integrated with the financial-services platform M-Pesa, to nurture financial inclusion by providing a mobile-phone-based money transfer service and enabling payments and micro-financing. Meanwhile, in Kenya, the end-to-end DigiFarm platform – available via USSD or via app – provides everything from basic farming advice to more advanced and mechanised support, much in the same way that M-Kulima does. </span></span></div><div><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">In South Africa, Vodacom partnered with UN Women and South African Women in Farming (SAWIF) to establish and drive a Women Farmers Programme aimed at making agriculture more accessible and profitable for women by teaching them how to use apps to connect to potential customers and unlock enormous economic growth. The project has so far trained more than 2000 women and the SAWIF database of farmers is now digitised and is easily accessible by all the women who have received computer literacy and basic business management training. Mbali na hayo ndani ya Muungano pia kuna <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>na vyombo viwili yya kutunga sheria na kusimamia utekelezaji wa shughuli za ummah ambavyo ni Bunge la Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania na Baraza la Wawakilishi la Zanzibar, ambapo hii ni taasisia mbili tofauti ambazo zinaweza kutegemea na kubadilisha taarifa muhimu pale inapohitajika kufanya hivyo.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Kwa kuwa tumo ndani ya muungano ya nchi mbili tofauti katika mgawanyo wa kazi na utendaji wake,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>hivyo basi ipo haja kwa jamii na hasa kwa kizazi kipya kufahamu kwamba kuna baadhi ya mambo ya kiutendaji yapo chini ya usimamizi wa <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania na hasa yanayohusu mambo<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>ya Muungano kama ambayo yamebainishwa katika Katiba ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ya mwaka 1977.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Aidha, yapo baadhi ya mambo yanaendeshwa na kutekelezwa moja kwa moja na Serikali ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar na hasa yale yote ambapo yapo nje ya makubali au hati ya muungano.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Wasimulizi kuhusu kuwepo kwa Muungano huu ni wengi na kila mmoja na sababu zake, wapo waliingia kwenye siasa za TANU na ASP, wapo wanasilimu sababu za kiisimu kama vile lugha, ukaribu wa baana ya watu wa Zanzibar na Tanganyika, lakini pia wapo wanaosimulia kuhusu suala zima la biashara katika ya Zanzibar, Tanganyika na nchi yengine za jirani ambazo Zanzibar ilikuwa ikifuta biaadha katika mataifa hayo kama vile Kongo, Malawi n.k.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Aidha wapo pia wanaosimulia kwamba sababu kuu Zanzibar kuunga na Tanganyika ni kwa lengo la kuimarisha ulinzi na usalama mara baada ya kufanyika mapinduzi ya Zanzibar hali ilionikena kama bado haijatengemaa hivyo wazo la kuziunganisha nchini lilionekana ni la muhumu sana kwa ustawi wa Zanzibar .</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Hatuwezi kukataa au kupinga kwa kuwepo kwa sababu nyengie mbali mbali kwa mujibu wa historia, lakini bado tunaweza kusema muungano unaweza kuwafanya baadhi ya watu kujuwa asili zao kutokana na historian na mienendo ya koo zao za awali ambazo zilifika Zanzibar kabla ya uhuru wa 1963 na mapinduzi ya 1964.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Kwa sasa tayari Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania imetimiza miaka 58, ambapo yapo mambo mengi yanahitajika kujulikana na hasa kizazi hiki cha sayansi ya teknologia, ingawaje faida zipo nyingi za muungano lakini pia na matito yapo mingi ya muungano, kwa mfano:- wanasiasa wengie wamekuwa wakipika kelele kuhusu hati ya muungano naaminni baadhi yao hawakuwepo katika wakati huo wa miaka 58 iliyopota.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Maneno kama haya wanasiasa yanaweza yakawa hayana faida lakini yana mantiki kwa kizazi cha sasa. Ingawaje uwepo wa <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Katiba ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ya mwaka 1977 na Katiba ya Zanzibar ya mwaka 1984 ni miongoni kwa kielelezo tosha cha uwepo wa Hati ya Muungano.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Aidha, inasemekena <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Hati za Muungano zilitiwa saini na waasisi wa Muungano tarehe 22 Aprili, 1964 visiwani Zanzibar ambapo ndio iliyopelekea kufuta jina la Tanganyika na kulibakisha la Zanzibar, ikumbukwe kwamba kwa upande wa Tanganyika walitoa herufi tatu ambazo ni TAN ana kwa upande wa Zanzibar nao walio hizi hizo hereufi tatu ambazo ni ZAN na baadae kuwekwa sawa kwa kujaziwa heribu na kuwa TANZAN (ia) na sasa ni <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanganyika na Zanzibar.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Katika makubaliano hayo katika ya Sheikh Abeid Amani Karume na Mwalimu Julius <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Kambarage Nyerere, ni kwamba Mwalimu Nyerere atakuwa Rais wa kwanza wa Jamhuri ya ya Muungano wa Tanzania na Sheikh Karume atakuwa Makamu wa Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania. Hivyo ndivyo ilivyokuwa lakini kidogo kidogo tulianza kubeza makubaliano hayo na hatime kubadilishwa na sasa Rais wa Zanzibar amekuwa kama Waziri badala ya Makano wa Rais wa Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania sio jambo baya ila limekengeuka makubalino ya awali ambapo wahenga walisema asiyekuwepo na lake halipo.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Mabadiliko hayo ya kumuondosha Rais wa Zanzibar kuwa Makamo wa Rais wa Jamuhuri pia ni miongoni mwa malalamiko wa wananchi wa Zanzibar kwani inaonakana kumuondosha Rais wa Zanzibar katika nafasi ya Umakamo ipo kisiasa zaidi kuliko kufuta makubalino ya hati za Muungano ya mwaka 1977.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Hata hivyo, Aprili 26, 1964 Bunge la Tanganyika lilipitisha Sheria za Muungano, ambapo Sheria hizo pia zilithibitishwa na Baraza la Mapinduzi la Zanzibar. Sheria hizo za Muungano zilithibitisha kuwa ndio hati za Muungano, ambapo zilimtaja Rais na Makamu wa Rais pamoja na mufumo au muundo wa Muungano na Katiba ya Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Aidha, Aprili 27, 1964, waasisi wa Muungano walibadilishana Hati za Muungano na wajumbe saba wa Baraza la Mapinduzi waliapishwa kuwa Wabunge wa Bunge la Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanganyika na Zanzibar ambao ni Sheikh Abeid Amani Karume, Kassim Abdala Hanga, Abdulrahaman Mohamed Babu, Hassan Nassor Moyo, Sheikh Aboud Jumbe, Hasnu Makame na Sheikh Idris Abdul Wakil. Baada ya kuapishwa kuwa Wabunge wakateuliwa kuwa Mawaziri wa Serikali ya Muungano.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Kabla ya Muungano, kulikuwa na Katiba ya Tanganyika ya mwaka 1962 na upande wa Zanzibar kulikuwa na Amri za Katiba (Decrees). Katiba ya Tanganyika baada ya kufanyiwa marekebisho ili kukidhi mahitaji ya Muungano iliendelea kutumika kama Katiba ya Muungano ya mpito hadi mwaka 1977 ilipopitishwa Katiba ya Muungano kwa mujibu  wa </span><span style="font-family: times; font-size: x-large;">Makubaliano ya Muungano na Sheria za Muungano.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Aidha, katika marekebisho hayo yalimtaja Rais wa Zanzibar kuwa ni Makamu wa Kwanza wa Rais, akiwa ni msaidizi wa Rais kwa masuala yote ya kiutawala kwa upande wa Zanzibar, na Waziri Mkuu kuwa ni Makamu wa Pili wa Rais ambaye atamsaidia Rais kwa masuala yahusuyo upande wa Tanganyika na kiongozi wa shughuli za Serikali Bungeni.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Katiba ya muda ya mwaka 1965 ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania iliainisha mambo kumi na moja ambayo yalikubalika kuwa ni ya Muungano chini ya usimamizi wa Serikali ya Muungano ambayo ni pamoja na Katiba na Serikali ya Muungano Mambo hayo ni: - Mambo ya Nchi za Nje; Ulinzi; Polisi; Mamlaka juu ya mambo yanohusika na hali ya hatari; Uraia; Uhamiaji; Mikopo na Biashara ya Nchi za Nje na Utumishi katika Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Mambo mengine ni Kodi ya Mapato inayolipwa na watu binafsi na mashirika, ushuru wa forodha na ushuru wa bidhaa zinazotengenezwa nchini Tanzania unaosimamiwa na Idara ya Forodha; na Bandari, mambo yanayohusika na usafiri wa anga, posta na simu.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Kuongezeka kwa Orodha ya Mambo ya Muungano yaliongezwa kwa mujibu wa Katiba na Sheria na kwa kushirikisha pande zote mbili za Muungano. Juni 10, 1965, mambo yote yahusuyo sarafu na fedha kwa ajili ya malipo yoyote halali (pamoja na noti); mabenki (pamoja na mabenki ya kuweka akiba) na shughuli zote za mabenki; fedha za kigeni na usimamizi juu ya mambo yanayohusu fedha za kigeni yaliingizwa kuwa jambo la 12 la Muungano.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Lengo kubwa la kuongezwa kwa jambo hilo ilikuwa ni kuwa na sarafu ya pamoja ya Tanzania baada ya Muungano, na kurahisisha usimamizi wa fedha za kigeni na mabenki katika Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania kufuatia kuvunjika kwa Bodi ya Sarafu ya Afrika Mashariki mwaka 1964.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Mwaka 1968, suala la maliasili ya mafuta pamoja na mafuta yasiyochujwa ya motokaa na mafuta ya aina ya petroli na aina nyinginezo za mafuta au bidhaa na gesi asilia liliongezwa kwenye Orodha ya Mambo ya Muungano kuwa Jambo la 15.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Vilevile, kufuatia kuvunjika kwa Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki mwaka 1977 na kutungwa kwa Katiba ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ya Mwaka 1977, mambo yafuatayo yaliongezwa katika Orodha ya Mambo ya Muungano ambayo ni Baraza la Taifa la Mitihani la Tanzania na mambo yanayohusika na kazi za Baraza hilo (Jambo la 16); Usafiri; Usafirishaji wa Anga (Jambo la 17) na Utafiti (Jambo la 18); Utabiri wa Hali ya Hewa (Jambo la 19); na Takwimu (Jambo la 20).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Kutokana na kuvunjika kwa Mahakama ya Rufani ya Afrika Mashariki mwaka 1979, suala la Mahakama ya Rufani ya Tanzania nalo liliongezwa katika Orodha ya Mambo ya Muungano na kuwa Jambo la 21. Vilevile, kufuatia mapendekezo yaliyotolewa na Tume ya Nyalali iliyokusanya maoni ya kuanzishwa kwa Mfumo wa Vyama Vingi vya Siasa, Uandikishaji wa Vyama vya Siasa na mambo mengine yanayohusiana nayo liliongezwa kwenye Orodha ya Mambo ya Muungano (Jambo la 22).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-align: justify; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-family: times; font-size: large;">Suala hilo hatimaye lilipitishwa kwa mujibu wa Sheria ya Vyama vya Siasa, Sura Namba 258.
