Mzungu Kichaa took East Africa by storm with his first music video Jitolee. After releasing his debut album in 2009 he won an African Achievement Award at a prestigious award ceremony organised by the African diaspora in Scandinavia. Through his influence on the Tanzanian music scene Mzungu Kichaa was selected as a judge for the last edition of the Televised talent show Bongo Star Search.

BONGO BEAT - Festival backing band
The Beat is a monthly festival (usually on the last friday of the month) showcasing the best live music from Tanzania and abroad. The festival is hosted by Mzungu Kichaa and features some of the best local and international talent passing through Tanzania.Triniti (www.triniti.co.tz) provides a relaxed ambience to enjoy good music taking you far away from the cities hustle and bustle, and yet it is still very central. Entrance is only 10k at the door.
