The Jamaican-American reggae singer and rapper, famous for international hits such as “It Wasn’t Me” and “Hot Shot”, will get Zanzibar up and dancing with an amazing one-off concert. The biggest selling dancehall artist ever, this is Shaggy’s first visit to Zanzibar and promises to be one of the major highlights of ZIFF 2011.
The concert venue has been changed from the original venue of Amani Stadium to The Old Fort – the home of ZIFF and a perfect location beside the port and at the very heart of Stonetown. The ancient amphitheatre of The Old Fort will be alive and kicking from 6pm until late with 4,000 party goers and one of the biggest music stars in the world.
Tickets only available from 8am on Friday 24th June and there is a limited capacity of just 4,000 tickets. ZIFF strongly advises concert-goers to get Zanzibar on Thursday to be sure to get that golden ticket! There is a full schedule of world class films, master classes and performing arts events kicking off on Saturday 18th June
